Since there was no topic on this when I searched, I decided to make a dedicated one.
I hooked up some rear Polyglass to my Alpines rear internal power tonight. So the amp is running my fronts and subs, and the deck is running my rear deck. All I can say is I'm pretty impressed with that V-drive power.. The rears are louder than the fronts at all volumes. Its not as robust as the amp power, but not bad at all for deck power, maybe the loudest, cleanest I've heard. It will be perfect for rear fill. I will need to fade it to the front a whole lot, so i hear fronts 75% or higher. The real secret to that finding isnt really that its louder than my amp. The secret is my polyglass are way more efficient than my Kevlar in front. So its easier to push them with less power. Thats why the rears almost match the fronts as far as volume, but the rear clarity and depth isnt very good.
