i bought the fm modulated xm radio from pioneer. its the gex-fm903xm. and i am redoing my whole system and i was wondering do i need to buy a new pioneer bus cable to hook up the xm straight to an xm ready deck from pioneer. i was looking into the deh-p750mp or the deh-p650. i cant look at my xm setup right now due to the fact my car is in the shop once again. thanx for any info.

if it didnt come with the big black cable with the square ends (one blue, one black), then yes you probably will

i just found out it does need an optional cable. the model number is cd-ip600. is that the cable u had to buy?

im not sure, the guy at the shop just said trust me this is what you need, and it was.

just go to an audio store that can order stuff for you, and tell them you need the I-P bus cable from the reciever unit to an XM ready HU
