I just installed my alpine R components today and I am getting a god awful vibration from the passenger side door. Nothing from the drivers side which i find odd. It almost sounds like a blown speaker, which it couldnt be. Any ideas or do you think i just need to dynamat that door? I just think its weird that im getting no vibration from the drivers side.
why dont you pull off the door panel and inspect?
maybe its vibrating and hitting the panel itself?
what does it feel like its vibrating against?
did you put spacers inbetween the speaker and door?

could be the plastic sheet on the door, it was acting like a drum after I installed my MB quarts.

Do you guys who have aftermarket speakers, remove the plastic sheets entirely?

I Raamatt'ed my doors so I coverd it with that instead. I don't think I would remove it completely without replacing it with something.

Forgive me if this was posted before.
Does the plastic sheet have ANY function?
i would guess to help keep sound or moisture out.

It is for moisture. Not going to keep much sound out:)

Make sure you dont have ANYTHING in that door's compartment, that cheap plastic will make anything wibrate, even paper sometimes

I think you just need to mat your doors well, it should kill nearly all vibration

Today I realized that there is minor vibration at full volume from the sail pannels too (I think that's the name for the L+R mirror covers ...?)
I have everything dynamated, many layers, every door panel inside out. But minor vibration in certain songs cannot be avoided I guess w/ 2x190WRMS up front...
I get vibration around the armrest on the passenger door. If you push on the armrest or just put pressure on it, no more vibration.
