And I

LOVVVVVVVVVVVVEEEEEEEEEEEEEE

it.

It's 1500 watts total, currently split at 2 ohms @ 250 RMS per each of the two channels.

OMG, rocks. Powering two 350 Watt 12" subs.

I was seriously amazed, sitting in the audio guy's garage and the bass was rattling **** in the garage, the large garage door that opens to let cars in was even shaking. Muhahahahaha. That, and I think I got some **** straightened out with my Eclipse deck that is powering the whole thing.

I need to get some pics to post soon.

Why the hell do you gotta bash him because of the setup that he is running, hell maybe I dont agree with him, but at least he's got balls enough to post it up and be proud of what he freaking has, you no talent azz clown!!!

I do appluade you on getting the RF amp, because they are pretty good amps, by why the punch line (no pun intended)? They make much better stuff.

1500 watts max, 250 watts RMS per each of the 2 channels the way I have it hooked up.

And I really just walked into the store planning to look and check out prices. I had been set on getting something in the Power series to go with my subs.

I got to talking to the guy and he started going through prices and was able to give me the one I got for 250, when it retails for 350... and the appropriate mono Power amp for 350 when list was 450.

I wasn't really planning on spending the money, so I just kind of settled on the Punch, although I really really wanted the Power, additionally because it had a blue LED which would've gone with the blue neon in my trunk. But eh, oh well.

I still love this amp though, although I've been thinking maybe later down the road I'd sell it used and use that to put down on a Power amp... But whatevs, I love it.

I have a RF POWER 451s that does 2x235WRMS at 2 0hms listed for sale. You could have got it from me for $125 shipped.

Oh wait, I saw that one. But on your ad it said:

3rd: RF Power 451S. $125 SHIPPED - 2x115, benched at 2x147RMS (4 Ohms) & 450WRMSX1 @ 4 Ohms

Which I was reading as being 115 or 147 RMS for each of the two channels, instead of the 2X235 RMS, that you just posted.

wtf... you don't understand the diff btwn two ohm and four ohms?

Hmm, I guess I wasn't really paying attention, but he didn't list the 2 ohm rating on the original add.

But yeah, I'm not really sure of what the exact diff is between them. It has to do with impedence or some **** like that, yah? Care to explain specifically? (Wasn't sure what he meant by "benched" either.) Hmm, or does it have to do with the configuration of the speakers?

everytime you cut the impedence in half the watts double. So if your amp is rated at say 100rmsX2 at 4 ohms, (and it's 2 ohm stabe) you would get 200rms x 2)

benched= the actual wattage an amp puts out at a certain voltage.

Yeah, it is 2x235 @ 2 Ohms. Birthseet says 470 WRMS.

It was tested (benched) at 2x147WRMS @ 4 0hms @ 13.5V here:

If you run a component set on it, it will most likely be pushing the 4ohm wattage... very few comp sets are 2ohm. Depending on what impedance your subs are, you can either get the 4ohm or 2ohm load. Go to JL or Ed's site and they both list wiring diagrams that give examples of different match ups.

His subs are 2 Ohms each, one on each channel (at least that's what he posted). That's why I posted the RF's rating at 2 Ohms.
