so i bought a 6x6 sheet of some dynamat since i got some really annoying rattles. question i post is that where should i place it?

1st place i want to put some is on the top of the console on the roof (with the sunglasses holder, lights, sunroof controls are). Now should i just put it on the back on the console itself or should i stick it on to the top of the roof directly above it? which would help more or help at all?

same problem with the trunk/licence plate, should i just stick it behind the licence plate on the inside of the trunk? or maybe would it be best to stick it right onto the licence place?

any help would be great :)

the sunglass holder can be fixed by taking a small 1 square foot terry cloth towel. Roll it up and stuff it in there. That'll eliminated most of the rattle from it.

I've got three layers of stuff on the back of my lisence plate.... so it just goes wap wap wap instead of tap tap tap :)

i actually use the sunglass holder though so i can't do that ;p

and did you physically put the mat onto the back of the plate itself?

i seem to of eleminated the problem with the plate but just for now until it gets warmer outside and i can do something better then (just put some 1''x1'' velcro on to the back of the plate)

Instead of going with the mat on the liscence plate, I used a think plate of cork and it helped a hell of a lot, plus I use four screws where most people only use two, thats helps hold it in place better. I have that exact same problem with my sunglass holder, except a little different, maybe you can help this. My bass hits so hard sometimes it will pop open my sunglass holder on a deep hit, how do I stop that?

well i fyou don't use it, put the towel in there. the added pressure on the switch should keep it from coming open by itself.

well what i did is bought some ' weather stripping and i stuck 2 small peices on each side of that black rubber stopper Inside that the holder presses up against. When you push the holder up, you kinda gotta push an extra bit to lock it in place but believe me, it helps a hella lot :)
