Well after that nine.1 catastrophe a while ago, eD has stayed out of the amp business and just stuck to subs. It appears that's going to end though, they're teaming up with Avionixx and coming out with a line of 2ch and mono amps that are "upgraded" vesions of the Avionixx amps that are out now. Supposedly they'll be built on the Avionixx chassis, but painted black with a diamond cut accents and "Elemental Designs" written on them.

Honestly, I love my 12A, but I'm having a lot of thoughts of staying away from Ed. There have been about 18000 posts against their service that to me were right on. And at some point even someone like me, who has purchased everything off the net... well, the its an internet company you have to learn to deal with a little delay sometimes... it gets f'ing old. We'll see, I am in need of an amp possibly to replace the USB, though I'll hate that it won't match the Avionixx I already have.

As far as beefed up and all that, whatever... I have a hard time trusting them anymore as well. And they dumped Avionixx, were talking about an alignment with Tru... I haven't seen a single thing from that... and now are back to Avionixx. :boggle:

yeah I think it's weird too
And there's still no word about their mids or anything. I'm surprised they're going this route, but as long as they work well I don't see the problem. I already have my amp situation taken care of right now, if I were to replace either of them it would only be with a Tru (or something comparable), just to try one out.

I really want to pick up the plain jane avionixx 400.2 to replace my 4065 if it needs replacing... but *shrug* we shall see. if it weren't for needing them to stick around for warranty work should it be needed...
