Here's some pics of my Install. I still need to order a custom box or hatchback box from subthump.com.. something like this.. http://subthump.com/images/subthumpboxes/t-topmilhouse.jpg

Anyway.. here's my progress so far.. Wiring's a little messy :p

Amp Rack -

* Kenwood 300 x 1 (600 x 1 @ 2ohms) Mono Amp
* Eclipse 50 x 4 Amp
* Crossovers for Front Components (Kenwood Excelon 6.75")

I'm wondering if there's any adverse effect to mounting the crossover networks so far away from the tweeter and midrange.. I had the stereo shop install the components and the mount the crossovers in the back of the car, instead of up front with the speakers..

shouldn't cause any negative side effects, just takes twice as much wire

What is that music keg?

Just gonna be using my old 250w Kenwood Excelon DB+ 12's. I put one in a cheap walmart box and stuffed it in the hatch area.. it looked really janky, but it hit hard as all hell.

The music keg is a device that holds MP3's. It interfaces with the Kenwood Heat HU through the CD-Changer port.. The HU sees it as a CD-Changer. I only have the 10gb cartridge so it can hold approximately 2500 songs.

You transfer the songs to the cartridge by inserting it into this "cradle" thing that connects to your PC via USB.

ohh a Camaro.

Where's the 8 track? Do those amps get in the way of accessing the gunrack?

I would think of a mullet comment but i'm tired :(

In reply to your reply of my reply about the reply (I think i got it right), I was being sarcastic..... but I guess that doesnt transfer to the computer world. I do like the set up, dont get me wrong, but it was just a joke. The only thing people should take seriously in the auto world is racing, unless you know you arent going to win.
