Today I competed in my first autoX event. It was with the Blue Ridge Region SCCA, and let me tell you, it was soooo much fun! I am completely hooked now! And to make things even better, my first time ever competing, I took 2nd place in the STS Novice class. The fastest time of the day was posted by an M3 at somewhere around 50.3 seconds, and my fastest official time was 60.742 (my fastest unofficial was 59.4~). I've got some video footage and pictures that I'll hopefully be posting soon, so when I do, I'll be sure to post on that. Anyways, it kicked ***! :)

Good job man, I'm hooked too, in fact, I'm going to another autox this Sunday. Too bad it's the last one of the season here in Charleston.:(

Adam-
Well, if you want, the BRR-SCCA is having another even in 2 weeks near Roanoke, VA. I know it's a bit of a hike for you, but we had a couple of guys up from Charleston this past weekend. If you're interested, let me know. You could could crash at my place or one of my friend's. It should be a good time. Supposedly it's one of the larger events.

How far is that?? I know it takes me 4 hours to get to Raleigh, and that's a long trip in itself!

It's about another 2 or 2 1/2 hours past Raleigh, so it's a hell of a drive. Especially for a day of driving. But, if you decide you're interested, just let me know, it'd be great to have another Sentra/200SX owner there. There weren't any other Nissans at this past one.

Damn, that's quite a day if it's 6.5 hours, plus racing. I don't think it's really possible between school and work, but I'll let you know if I can come up.
I ran in my first AutoX 3 weeks agao. Ran my second last weekend and my 3rd is 2 weeks from now. I'm hooked (thanks Wes):D We just had a mini-meet at the last AutoX we took 8 guys who had never run before with us. They are all hooked.
this is the reason we mod are cars:D
